The deceptively simple wordmark “Ideas Need Space” was created for OCAD U’s capital fundraising campaign. The strategy, as it turned out, was to ignore what the fundraising “experts” said about never focusing on the need. And it worked – every cent that was needed to make the iconic Sharp Centre for Design a reality was raised.
